24 Inmates at Ikoyi Prisons to Write This Year’s JAMB

24 Inmates at Ikoyi Prisons to Write This Year’s JAMB Tunde Ladipo, the Controller of Prisons, Lagos Command says 24 inmates of the Ikoyi Prisons will participate in the forthcoming 2019 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination scheduled to hold in April.

The 24 inmates are among the 1.8 million candidates that registered for the all Computer Based Test under the UTME, and according to Ladipo, preparations have been concluded by the Board to ensure a hitch-free examination for the inmates in its facility.

The Controller stated that organisers of this UTME have assisted the prison facility with 60 computers and other accessories, which they have been using to train the inmates at the prisons’ school.

Ladipo also mentioned that the inmates’ responses have been amazing, and he expressed that he expected nothing but an excellent perfomance in the exam.
