ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Candidates should possess WASC/SSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB Ordinary Level with credit passes in 5 relevant subjects. See the list of subjects below for details.

ELIGIBILITY
The Programme is open to applicants with a minimum of five (5) Credits in not more than two sittings in English Language and other relevant subjects [in GCE, SSCE, NECO, NABTEB & TC II (TC II is applicable for applicants for Faculty of Education)].

 

COURSE DURATION
The Programme is for a period of one year (one academic session).

 

COMMENCEMENT DATE

Online application should commence from Monday 20th July, 2020.

 

METHOD OF APPLICATION

Application is online,  click on Application procedure and follow the instructions; a fee of Eighteen Thousand Naira only (N18,000.00), including bank charges is required. Payment can be made online or at U &C Microfinance Bank LTD, Access Bank, First Bank, UBA and Fidelity Bank Nationwide.

 

The names on candidates’ O’ Level Certificates must be same as what is filled online. Any False information given automatically disqualifies the applicant.

 

CLOSING DATE

The closing date for application is Friday,  27th November, 2020.

 

SCREENING AND REGISTRATION
Registration of shortlisted candidates will be announced in due course.

To transit to the Degree Programme, in addition to the required 5 Credits, the candidate must

1. PASS THE PRESCRIBED PRE-DEGREE EXAMINATIONS

2. HAVE THE APPROPRIATE UNIFIED TERTIARY MATRICULATION EXAMINATION (UTME) SUBJECT COMBINATION AND

3. HAVE THE INSTITUTIONAL MINIMUM CUT-OFF IN THE 2020/2021 UTME AND MUST HAVE CHOSEN THE UNIVERSITY OF PORT HARCOURT
